Hey all!
So, where do I begin?? This season has already started off with a huge bang, and we are already on a fast roll! As far as a record goes, we are currently 5-6 wins to losses, and have a lot of big games coming up. Last night we beat MacMurray 3-0 in a pretty competitive match! We are 4-1 in conference which is a huge improvement from last year, so we are all very happy about that! We are looking forward to other conference games especially, but also the other teams we get to play this season.
Another improvement for the team this year is that we have such large numbers, we have created a semi-stable JV team! The JV team has 4 matches this season, including one this Friday, and one played last Friday at Eureke. The JV team is currently UNDEFEATED! Yay!
The team is stronger than ever and we really believe that this will be our year to do something BIG, so look out! Haha! We have 4 seniors that we will miss very much next year, but we are very strong this year, so their presence on the court is much-needed and definitely noticable.
I think that is all I really have for this week. Hopefully I have good results for you all next week!!(We travel to Illinois College this weekend for a few matches, as well as a JV match Friday, hopefully wins!)
