It's been awhile since my last blog, and I apologize...I have been very busy with school work, basketball and taking care of some things back home. Now the second semester is under way, with classes beginning last week and the grind of playing a sport and school work begins again.
I am taking 18 credit hours this semester to make up for one of my classes that did not transfer over when I transferred last year. Not much to talk about classes yet, mostly just introduction to the classes, but on the basketball part many things have been going on.
We are currently 4-3 in conference play with wins over Webster, Principia, Blackburn and Fontbonne. Our losses are to Westminster, Eureka and Greenville. We haven't been playing our best basketball lately; in our loss to Greenville a poor defensive performance cost us the game. We scored 92 points, which should let us win almost every game, but poor defense has caused us to lose. Marc Randle and Jerel Robertson played well in our win versus Principia. Marc had a double-double and Jerel posted 16 points and nine rebounds.
We have a big game on Saturday at home versus Spalding. It is also our alumni game, so that just adds to the importance of a win.
That's all for now...
